The focus of this day is letting go.  Stilling those inner waters.  Clearing my heart and soul and opening them for more love and compassion to flow through.
Empowerment comes when we realize that we have a choice. Not everything in the world is out of our control.  Realize that we do not need to control everything in our lives. Let go and allow things to manifest as they should; embrace the unknown with wander.

prefering my book to e-book

Amazing somehow, but despite all the electronic gimmicks people still buy paper books..and even better with a hard cover (although quite a bit more expensive) ; our local bookstores have done even far better this year than in previous years.  I believe readers love the identity of the object, the book it self - a bit like a treasure, a three dimensional mass you can feel, hold an which moves you to another world without tiring your eyes as much as reading from a screen display. Moreover, I think holding a book slows down the perceived time whilst enhancing an inherent and today’s most sought sense of living the moment to the full, physically turning the pages of the book back and forward and the pages remain in front of you to be singly touched and held.
